]]> Sat, 25 Jun 2011 13:05:00 +1200 Queens Birthday Weekend http://www.coromandelaccommodation.net.nz/guestbook/newsletter/2011/6/7/queens-birthday-weekend/ http://www.coromandelaccommodation.net.nz/index.php?cID=126 Well this is the last long weekend fror all vistors comimg to coromandel town.It started on Friday with abysmal weather howling wind and rain by the bucketful.But true to form in the coromandel and especially to the travellers that stayed with us,they were amazed at how quickly the weather can change;one minute terrible and the next day a perfect warm autum day.The guests that enjoyed a why worry scenic boat cruise around the islands and really appreciated the magnificent panoramic views and when viewing from the water everything looks so different.One guest commented with a question.How many guests try the scenic boat cruises?The answer was not many which is a shame,you havent really appreciated what the coromandel has to offer unless you see it from both views land and sea.
