Wow -

We had a fantasic break; the unit was spacious, clean, well appointed with great decor and breath taking views.

Breakfast was laid out with more than you could imagine and home made bread and jams too.

The fishing charter (on site) equalled the high quality of the accomodation - we even had help cleaning up the fish scraps - with Sam the chocolate Lab.

Thanks Jen and Mark...

Buildings are expensive and not everyone can buy it. But, loans was invented to support different people in such kind of cases.

This is well known that cash can make people disembarrass. But how to act if someone does not have cash? The one way is to get the credit loans or financial loan.

If you're in not good state and have no money to move out from that point, you would need to take the business loans. Just because that would aid you definitely. I take collateral loan every year and feel myself OK just because of this.

My partner and i stayed in the sunrise room for 2 days in feb 2012 this room has the most amazing views looking out over 2 harbours and the surrounding mountainside we absolutely loved it.Our hosts Mark and Jen were most accommodating and very friendly to us.We had a evening meal which consisted of fresh fish and fresh scallopps mark had caught several hours earlier on his charter boat, this was accompanied with new potatoes, carrotts and a fresh salad all from their garden.Desert was a dutch steamed pudding all of this was absolutely delicious and we ate this meal on the huge deck and watched the sun setting this was the best meal that we had had in our six week holiday in new zealand. Our rooms was clean and tastefully decorated and had our own private deck.We also fell in love with Sam the chockolate labrador he was just so lovable and a total character.

Thanks very much Mark and Jen for a memorable stay in your beautiful country.

We just spent a weekend at Why Worry B&B on the beautiful Coromandel peninsular.
From the first warm smiles from our hosts Jennifer and Mark, we felt right at home.

We were greeted with a kind invite upstairs to have a pre-dinner drink on the expansive wrap around deck. The view from there was breathtaking. Panoramic scenes of pristine rainforests, beaches and secluded harbours.

The company was congenial and we enjoyed the genuine kiwi country hospitality.

Our room was very comfortable with a private balcony overlooking the rain forested hills beyond the town - this was a real bonus as we were only expecting a basic room. There was a nice modern ensuite included and we had a mini bar to enjoy.

We were fortunate to be able to tie up a trip with our hosts over to the Whitianga Scallop Festival which is a must do on the peninsular. Loads of delicious fresh scallops to try in all manner of different cooking methods.

The day was very enjoyable and our driver, Mark even let us in on a local secret - ice creams to die for in kouautunu on the way back.

We decided to join our hosts for an evening meal because we were enjoying their company and their extensive local knowledge.

The meal was great wholesome kiwi country fare with a nice roast lamb, carrots with honey(!) and traditional cauliflower with cheese sauce among an assortment of other delicious vegetables and salads on offer at the buffet bar.

We opted for desert which was a sumptuous homemade Dutch fruit pudding with custard. Yum!

After a bottle of Hawkes Bay Merlot and coffees we retired to our private balcony. We thought about having a nice warm spa on the adjacent deck, but decided we had been decadent enough for one day. Maybe next visit.

The next morning my partner was offered a place on the boat for a quick trip out to the scallop beds to catch some scallops fresh from the ocean. This was a rare treat and he came back beaming from his experience on board the "Why Worry" big red fishing boat. They had a mishap with the dredge and didn't catch any scallops, but they had so many laughs it didn't even matter.

We would recommend this as a unique experience not to be missed on a trip to the beautiful Coromandel Peninsular. So relaxing.
Room Tip: The "Orca" room downstairs was our pick. Very private. We recommend you take up the offer of an evening meal with the hosts. Many laughs to be had in relaxed company.

spent 3 lovely days, Mark and Jen were lovely, friendly and helpful. Our room had great veiws and all the facilities were very comfy, bed was comfy and warm. We went on a Wine, Cheese and scallop cruise with Mark where he dredged fresh scallops and them cooked them right there on the boat for our lunch. We had an enjoyable evening meal where Jen cooked the scallops and fish a different way.
The whole experience and our hosts exceeded all our expectations. Definately recomment this B&B to everyone we know.

What can I say... Jen & Mark are fantastic hosts, (really down to earth too), they go that bit extra for someone. If you are after a quiet location in a fantastic little town, then go no further. My husband and I opted to go on a fishing charter with Mark, and I am so glad we did so. We caught some bloody great sized snapper, and kawhai. Mark cooked us up a huge feed for lunch on the boat which was really tasty. The accomodation is fantastic and I would have no hesitation in reccommending anyone to stay here. You would have a ball. Many thanks guys for everything, if we are back this way again, we know where to find you :-)

The host and hostess were extremely helpful in ensuring that I was able to experience the area. They provided information, booked a tour and provided a hire car all without any hassle. High speed internet was not available in the rooms at the time i stayed due to a technical fault but was accessible in the main house. The atmosphere was always friendly and helpful and would suit people who enjoyed indoor pets. meals were taken in the main house and were homely but always 1st class.
The room I had was a studio and all the facilities were quite satisfactory. Everything advertised was provided including the wonderful views.

We came and stayed mid june and went out on a fishing trip with Mark the views from our room were amazing and our hosts were oh so friendly nothing was to much trouble for them. They made our stay so enjoyable.Mark the skipper gave us a great trip we caught some very good snapper. His KIWI sence of humour made our trip fun,he certainly was not shy in giving us a hard time over washing our hands all the time he said no sucessful fishing trip is ever achieved with your hands smelling like roses. Thanks for a great trip Mark,if we come back to the coromandel we are definitely staying and fishing with you again.

Had a fab stay with Mark and Jen at their bed and breakfast. It was extremely clean and tidy with a great view. The spa was so hot and relaxing and their cat as another highlight too. Mark took us out fishing and we had a blast, Mark took us to many different fishing spots to ensure that we had a good catch, Mark also put the fish into our chilly bin in our ute with ice, that extra mile that goes along way. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we intend to stay there again. The host and hostess are great at their job and there sense of humor is just the icing on the cake!! You wont regret staying or fishing with them!

The facilities were also excellent for evening relaxing, and Mark and Jen provided a nice homely evening meal (at no notice!) too

It was a great break away choice for us, venue and hosts

Absolutely the best place in Coromandel. Situated on top of a hill the house boasts stunning views to 270 degrees around. We had some drinks with Jenny and Mark on arrival on one of their elaborate decks that surround the house. It felt like meeting old friends. Ask for the Sunroom: it is spacious and gives on to a private terrace with views of the bay and the oyster banks (visible only at low tide). Two minutes drive to the beach and four minutes drive to the village. Must go!

Sam the dog will make you feel 10 years younger dog with attitude. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

So good we came back for more!
After 5 weeks touring N & S NZ we were so impressed we came back for more of the superb hospitality and excellent fishing that Mark & Jen offer. What a brilliant time we had there, fishing, eating fresh snapper, lazing in the hot tub with a glass of wine as the stars came out over the bay, sublime.

Great Kiwi Hospitality. We really enjoyed the time spent with Mark and Jen both on the water and at the B & B relaxing on the deck and having a quiet drink while taking in the great views.
Thanks also for the unexpected freshly caught seafood cooked for us while we continued to fish. The crew really enjoyed the spa relaxing at the end of the evening. The home cooking cannot be beaten along with the welcolming friendly humour.
Well recommended for anyone wanting a unique Kiwi experience.

Our family stayed at whyworry accomodation recently, the rooms were absolutely impeccable.the quietness at this coromandel location is unbeleivable there is just no noise, all you hear is the sound of the sea and the native bird calls, the views of the sea and mountains are incredible. Our hosts Mark and Jen treated us to service that made us feel very welcome and the food jen cooked was up to par with any top restaurant.Mark took us out on a fishing trip the fishing was great, but the views of the coromandel penninsular and the islands was awesome, you get a totally different perspective when you look at an area when you are viewing it from the sea,I highly recommend this place if you want to stay in coromandel at a place with the X factor.
